Executive Producer on Travellers by Kris McManus. Alex assisted in the financing of this British Independent film.

"Four thirty-something guys set out on their motorcycles, clocking up miles in an attempt to outrun their age and their middle-class lifestyles. One night they set up camp and reminisce over their wasted youth, and then the following morning they discover an ominous looking caravan parked nearby. Within minutes, an idiotic prank turns into kidnap, frightening brutality and a race for survival which not only poses a number of moral dilemmas but makes us question who the bad guys really are..."

Projects - 2008:

City (2008) - short film written and directed by Alex Edwards. DOP - Stuart White, Sound - Chris Armstrong, Cast includes Vee Vimolmal, Alex Edwards, Andreas Lysandrou and Rick Lennox. Synopsis:

"Ex Lehman Brothers and Ex Andersen employee turned actor / filmaker Alex Edwards has created 'City', a short film which encapsulates the harsh, sexual and raw nature of the financial world. Set in the near future deep within a cosmopolitan financial metropolis, this story follows our heroine on a journey towards her ultimate goal. The audience, innocent to this goal, will travel through an imposing night time cityscape and witness a thriller which leaves them actively questioning whether the actions are materialistic, ethical or whether sexual desire supersedes any corporate responsibility. A timely story in a world of financial turmoil."

Currently in Post Production with Nick Swinglehurst (editor) and Mark Horwood (composer) on board this short is set for release later this year.
